.. confused ..

Lately I've been thinking really hard about a friend of mines. Don't you hate that feeling where you have to question your friends? Are they loyal and honest with you?? Well you really shouldn't if you consider them a close friend right? Who really knows. I hate being lied to about dumb things, I hate when people put up a front instead of just being themselves. You don't have to be a friend for every personality there is out there, you don't have to accommodate every friend and act how they are just to make them feel comfortable. It's childish really. Be who you say you are and stop fronting. Sorry bloggers, just had to get that out. Lol. On another note, Happy Holidays and another post is soon to come!!

.. luncheon with my besties ..

I'm fortunate to have 4 very close friends to me. Isn't that sad that I can count all my best friends on one hand lol. I find it a lot less stressful and better for the soul. haha lol jk. Females can be a little much at times so I think that's actually beneficial for me, don't you think? Anyways, my 2 best friends and I finally got the time to spend with each other. It was chaotic trying to find the time and place to meet, just to catch up and see how we're all doing.

We've been best friends since my sophomore year of High School until now and forever to be exact. There's nothing I wouldn't do for these girls. Who are they you ask? Melissa Fifita and Trustine Mendoza. We all met at Cottonwood High through volleyball. We were bad ass. We took state the year of 2007. That was irrelevant but I thought I'd brag a little lol. We've been inseperable since. I love these girls to no end, since we've met they have always been 'one hunnit', no bullshit, just real. Perhaps too real sometimes. lol.

Tini is a year older than Melissa and I (and the shortest lol). After we all graduated, we went our seperate ways but still managed to keep in touch here and there. Melissa went on to play college ball at UVU, Tini did the same at Western Wyoming. I had a scholarship to Louisiana but I turned it down because I was afraid of change, afraid of new things to develop. Yes, I know. I was dumb. So instead, I thought playing for SLCC would have something better to offer, that was an epic fail. I didn't end up making the team, so. Instead I did the 'IN' thing and got pregnant and didn't finish college. OH YEAH!! lol all things happen for a reason, so if you think I regret going to Louisiana, you're partially right. lol jk!! I thought about it and things would never be the same, I wouldn't have my children and hubby whom I love to death! So, I guess you could say I took a different route. lol.

We had dinner at Cheesecake Factory, we sat and caught up for about 5 almost 6 hours!! I was so excited and anxious to see and finally hang out with these chicks! Melissa is now modeling for different agencies and is a part time host at Red Lobster, she's married to a pro beach vball player, Landon. Tini is a registured nurse for elderly people and is in a serious relationship with the one they call, Peter lol. We make fun of her that she has to change old men's diapers for a living. lol jk! And as for me, I'm a full time mother and collections agent, trying to save up to go to beauty school. We're all happy with our lives and where we're at now after high school. Never did we imagine we'd be models, nurses, and soon to be beautician!! We thought typically after high school, we'd go to college. Get some fancy degree and become filthy rich. Maybe the Lord had something different in store for us lol. Meeting and stuffing our faces was memorable, we're still the same goofy ditsy 3 bffs. I'm glad we didn't change at all and we can still act like immature high school girls lol.

All in all, it was great catching up and I love these girls to no end. It's rare that you run into females like they are and I lucked out on having them apart of my life!!

..halloween 2012..

Everyone's favorite holiday is Halloween right? Well at least everyone I know lol, I could not make up my mind on what I wanted my kids to be. That sounds so wrong, notice how I said 'I' and didn't even consider the fact that maybe what I wanted wasn't what my kids wanted. Well at least my daughter that is. We went to a couple of Halloween stores to shop around for some ideas, my daughter is such a damn tomboy it scares me! So we looked around and I kept leading her to where the princesses and fairies were because they're girly and cute! My daughter would just look at me and say, 'no mommy'. Kasey could see that I was losing my patience so he said just to let her go and sooner or later she'll find what "she" wants.

So she takes Kasey's hand and pulls him to where the ninjas were. I really wanted to cry, but this only meant one thing. We had to make her the cutest girliest ninja!! I had fun putting her costume together. At the end of the night, things weren't as bad as I thought it'd be, sometimes you need to let your kids grow on their own and not hover over them. This is one of the many lessons I've learned being a parent.
So my daughter wanted to be a ninja and my son didn't have a choice! I dressed him as the old man from the movie 'up'. I had so much fun putting their costumes together, I used things around the house and all together both of my kids costumes came to $30! $15 for Mane's, $8 for her ninja gear that came with everything, $4 for her false lashes that she didn't even wear, and $3 for her weapons. My son's one piece from Target was $12 and $3 for his balloons and glasses from the dollar store! They loved their costumes and so did mommy and daddy's wallet lol.

We went to the mall and Jordan Landing for trick-or-treating and then my sister's dance group had a Halloween party as well. We ended the night early because it was getting cold and there's a bunch of creeps nowadays lol. Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!! It's so exciting because that only means the Holidays are getting closer!! I cannot wait!! Happy Halloween bloggers!!

..wrapping up the summer of 2012..

This blog is long overdue, I meant to do this earlier but better late than never right? As any other summer, this one has been by far the best! There's a million reasons why and I can sit here and explain in detail as to why and how that is. But I'll keep it short and simple and highlight what really made my summer of 2012 the best!

I'm pretty sure you know the first reason, yes that would be my son! Kasey and I are so blessed to have received another child in addition to our crazy daughter. My son has made such a difference in so many ways and has taken my little family to places I thought we'd never go. It's so crazy to think that we have 2 kids now! Wow, there is no greater joy that could compare to having your own little mini me's running around and raising them as well. I thank God everyday (not always in prayer) for my children and my soon to be husband that really do make my life worth living!

Another reason is that both Kasey and I have really became closer with our little brother. Sad, right? Lol, when we first got together, we didn't really do much for our brothers. But after seeing how great they are with our kids, and how loving they are? It really makes me emotional, my brother is 11 and Kasey's brother is 10, I never thought boys their age can be so delicate and loving with babies! I love that our children look up to our brothers and are comfortable with them. Now, almost every weekend, it's always a family date and our 'adopted sons' lol. We'll do bowling, raging waters, movies, and just going to dinner with them, I have to admit, we're kind of spoiling them lol we even bought them back to school supplies, clothes, and backpacks! I felt they deserved every bit of it :) I love you Hinx and Kene!!

Of course, there were some bumps along the way but what's life without a little bit of drama? BORING!! lol, hopefully by the time summer of 2013 comes around, I can feel comfortable walking around in my 2 piece lol!! We'll have to see, enjoy some pictures bloggers! Until then!!

..updates for my followers..

My son has grown so much! He is now 4 months, yes I know he looks like he's 9 months tho lol. Words cannot come close as to how I feel about this little person, he has such an amazing personality for such a tiny being! I love coming home to his smile! He is everything and more to me, it's sad to say but I get so easily emotional just thinking of my son. The reason I say, 'sad', is because I don't get as emotional when it comes to my daughter. OMG that sounds so rude! But any mother who has a son can relate, don't get me wrong, I love both my children equally. My son is a momma's boy and my daughter is most definitely a daddy's girl! So I guess you could say they're even right?! Well here are just a few recent pictures of my little man! Enjoy :)

..Cali fun and final vacay!!..

Returning back to work after Maternity leave sucks. So I wanted to take advantage of my time off before going back to work. While I was on Maternity leave I was employed with Convergys, whom I hated working for, but with the economy and all, I really had no choice. Also with another baby on the way, who wouldn't want another income right?! After I gave birth I dreaded the day where I would have to go back to Convergys, so with that being said, I sought other employment opportunities with numerous companies and I was fortunate to get on directly with COMCAST! I couldn't be more grateful, I've been trying to get in this company for the longest!! I almost cried when their Recruiter called me back, but I won't jump into that just yet (later post).

We initially went down for my hubby's show at a night club and just spent the 4th of July weekend there as well. The show was awesome, I had a blast. Hubby and cousins did great as well, that goes for the rest of the performers also. Until the night was drawing to its end, there was a fight that broke out. LoL, but what's a show without drama right? Our weekend there was well spent. Lots of laughter, catching up, tears, shopping, eating, volleyball, swimming, and just quality time with family. Unfortunately, we didn't make our way to the beach but who needs a beach when you have the Great Salt Lake right?! Haha!

Anyways, here are just some photos of our trip to California. By the way, thanks to Steph and Omi, our trip was free. We didn't have to pay for NOTHING! Just spending money and that was it. But hello, common sense, we pitched in for gas lol. So NO, we're not free loaders lol. Enjoy :)
