And the winner is.. Sio Fa'avalea Barrington!!

In my blog entitled, 1 and Counting, we were indecisive on picking names for our son. After much thought and consideration, we chose 'Sio'. If your family and you're thinking we named him after our Sio side, you should slap yourself lol. We chose the name because it's Kasey's uncle that passed away in June 2009.

My due date was May 31st, I thought he would come early like his sister but no, I was wrong. As time grew closer, my weekly check-ups were great but still nothing. No minor contractions, no pains, no signs of labor at all. I was getting more and more anxious to see my son, I would walk everywhere for as long as my body would allow me to and still nothing. My sister told me to do jumping jacks, and yeah that was a hell no lol. Time came and I was 40 weeks which is full term, I had the option to wait it out or to get induced, which do you think I did? You're correct, I made that phone call and made arrangements to get induced. I don't know if every lady in Salt Lake was pregnant and due the same day I was but it took my Dr. 3 days to finally get me into a room with a nurse! Now if you're a female and have had kids, I'm pretty sure you could feel my emotions at this point, but I kept calm for the sake of my baby lol.

On Sunday, June 3rd, I was finally getting induced, the process went rather quicker than I thought! Which was a great thing lol, I checked in at 7:30 in the am and finally pushed this monster out at 4:36pm the same day. Again like my first pregnancy, I went natural, no meds, no epidural, just natural. I was only dilated at an 8 and already started pushing, crazy I know! 

My baby boy arrived weighing 8 lbs 9 oz and 22 inches long!! I was so emotional when I held him, I cried and cried and was so happy to finally see him, yup he looked just like Taimane but more white and definitely has my nose! LoL poor kid.

Another bundle of joy and blessing for both Kasey and I :)
